How anonymous calls

You’re going to reciprocate received a prank call from a friend but do not want that you discover immediately reading your number on his cell phone? Need to contact some contact details taken from the phone but do not want the recipients of calls from viewing your number? One need not be James Bond to succeed.

You might not know it yet, but there are free services offered by all the major national operators and smartphone apps that allow you to hide your phone number and make calls to mobiles and landlines disguising their identity.

We discover how to make anonymous calls using them, however, I would recommend: do not use them for purposes other than the protection of your privacy or the creation of simple jokes. Your real identity will still be visible to operators and authorities.

If you want to make anonymous phone calls with your mobile phone, the simplest solution is that you can take the service of private call offered by all major national operators: TIM, Wind, 3 and Vodafone Italy. Using it, you can call any landline or mobile phone doing not display your address to anyone who is on the other side.

How do you use it? To make an anonymous call from the phone you simply precede the code # 31 # to the contact number. For example, if you want to call the number you have to dial # 31 # 112233 112233 on your mobile and start the call normally. The service works with any model of smartphone or mobile phone, and no additional costs.

If you’re using an Android smartphone you can even automate the process of camouflage your number thanks to applications like Anonym Call presenting a practical switch (ON / OFF) to enable or disable the anonymous and signals its status in the system tray, what is at the top of the screen.

Alternatively, always on Android, you can enable automatic camouflage of their telephone number by starting the dialer (ie screen dialing), pressing the Menu button (the icon with three dots placed at the bottom right) and going Settings> Other Settings. Finally, we must press on caller ID and put the check mark next to Hide number.

To turn off the setting, return to the same screen and set the caller ID on Home network. Easy, right?

Is there a way to make anonymous calls even from a landline. The operation is the same as that for mobile phones, but it changes the code to use: instead of # 31 # 67 # * must precede the numbers to call.

For example, if you want to call the number 112233 without knowing your number to anyone who is on the other side, you have to pick up the phone and dial * 67 # 112233. Again, there are no additional costs and the service runs to and from all major national operators.

Before closing I reiterate the point that these solutions do not provide a true anonymity: camouflage number only in the eyes of the recipients of the calls, which, however, can turn to third-party services that allow you to unlock the private numbers so easy.
