You don’t need anything complicated—just a clean glass, some white rice (which symbolizes wealth and accumulation), and, of course, your lottery ticket or betting slip.

To perform the ritual, fill the glass completely with white rice, then fold your ticket and tuck it deep into the center of the rice so that it is entirely covered and protected by the grains.

Next, place the glass in the highest spot in your kitchen—such as on top of the refrigerator or on a high cupboard—following the ancient belief that the energy of abundance should rise and expand upward.
